Dehradun, April 20:
A team of expert plastic surgeons from America called on Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna on Friday. Chief Minister Bahuguna congratulating them said that they were working for a noble cause and assured them to extend all possible help from state government's side.
Chief Minister said that there was lot to be done in the field of plastic surgery and all those dedicating their services to this field deserved appreciation. He said that it would be an endeavour of the state government to ensure availability of all those equipments used in the plastic surgery in all government hospitals. He advocated organizing medical camps in remote places so that people there could avail of benefits of these camps. Chief Minister presented citation letters to Dr. Erric Mony, Dr. Deb Russi, Dr. John Pata, Dr. Annie Disnmore, Caroline Parskin and Jessica Cosco.
Jaykrishna Bhaktavatsala, Country Director of Research International Centre said that the Organization had organized medical camps in all over the country in which patients with burn injuries and deformation were being treated through plastic surgery. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Yogi, Arron, Dr. Sandeep Malik and Congress leader Jay Singh.
