The officer trainees of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Royal Bhutan Civil Services (RBCS) called on the Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari here today. Shri Ansari interacted with these officer trainees on various socio-economic issues and the issues concerned with the welfare of common masses and wished them good luck in their career.
158 officer trainees include 135 male and 23 female officer trainees and 2 from RBCS. Out of 158 officer trainees, 56 are from Engineering background, 18 from Medicine background, 19 from Pure Sciences, 9 from Management, 35 from Arts, 5 from Law, 2 from Commerce and 14 from others viz. M.Phil, PhD, MCA & other background.
