Chief Minister Bahuguna said that campaign would be launched against adulteration in foodgrains

Dehradun, 10 May:
Despite no regular Janata Milan at Chief Minister Residence on Thursday, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna did not let the visitors go back without hearing their grievances. The Chief Minister took out time to listen to their problems and directed the concerned officers to redress them. He also sanctioned funds for medical treatment and to disabled persons amounting between Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 30,000. He also directed the officers to initiate probe into the financial irregularities reported in Luxer City Panchayat.
Interacting with the Electronic Media after the Janata Milan, Chief Minister said that development of border districts was top priority of the State Government and separate fund of Rs. 100 crore would be constituted for the comprehensive development of backward Development Blocks. He said that people's suggestions on development issues were being collected from various districts and he himself was visiting places to take the suggestions. "We will take these suggestions in consideration while drafting the Budget," he said.
Chief Minister Bahuguna said that campaign would be launched against adulteration in foodgrains though already directives had been given to implement the related law strictly. He said that high level committees had been constituted for restructuring of districts and another one would be set up for identification of backward areas. He disclosed that a Cabinet Meeting would be organized at Gairsen.
