In Major Ports such as Chennai, V.O. Chidambaranar, Cochin, New Mangalore, Mumbai and Mormugao Port, where cruise ships/passenger ships make a call, the disembarkation facility is available as per international standards.
Steps have been taken by the Ports to upgrade the facilities such as escalators, aero bridge, providing customs/immigration desks, baggage scanning, food court, gaming zone, passport reading machines, etc where cruise ships/passenger ships make a call.
