The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Desh Deepak Verma as Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in the vacancy of Shri S.Chandrashekaran(Retired). Shri Verma, an IAS officer of 1978 batch of UP cadre is presently Director General, Sports Authority of India in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports
