Karan wonders if no one wants to be an audience (Movie Snippets)



Mumbai, April 11 (IANS) Known for making larger than life dramas for the big screen, filmmaker Karan Johar feels nowadays everybody wants to be in the movie business and wonders if someone is interested in just being an audience!
"Everyone wants to either act, direct or then has a screenplay! Does no one want to be an audience any more?” the 40-year-old tweeted.
Karan, head honcho of Dharma Productions, has given blockbusters like “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” as a director and as a producer he has churned out hits like “Kal Ho Naa Ho”, "Wake Up Sid" and “Agneepth”.
He is now looking forward to his next production release “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”. The Ayan Mukerji directed film brings former real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone together on the big screen.

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who has endorsed brands like Electrolux, Spice Mobile, and Mont Blanc, associates only with those names that she believes in.
“Everything that I endorse is what I truly believe in,” the 27-year-old, who is currently the face of L'Oreal Paris, told IANS.
Daughter of well-known actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam entered Bollywood six years ago with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Saawariya". She did films like "Delhi 6" and "Ayesha" and now, the actress is looking forward to “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” and “Raanjhnaa”.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan wishes all his fans, a happy and prosperous “Ugadi” and “Gudi Padwa”.
“Happy 'Gudi Padva' to all my Maharashtrian brothers and sisters... and Happy 'Ugadi' to those in the Southern regions ...Naoroz Mubarak to all our Kashmiri friends,” the 70-year-old tweeted.
Gudi Padwa is the Marathi name for Chaitra Pratipada. The day is marked as the beginning of the New Year, according to the Hindu calendar.
